Boston Landing 80 Guest St. Tenant Fit-Out Projects Completed
BEDFORD, MA (December, 2018) – State Electric has been working for John Moriarty & Associates on the transformation of Boston Landing since construction began in 2013. Over the last five years, we have completed numerous electrical projects at the 15.2 acre development including New Balance World Headquarters, Boston Bruins’ Warrior Ice Arena, 80 Guest St. Core & Shell, and The Lantera, as well as many other small fit-out projects.
In November, State Electric completed the tenant fit-outs at 80 Guest St., located adjacent to the Bruins’ Warrior Ice Arena, for audio equipment industry leader Bose Corporation and life science companies Proteostasis Therapeutics and Roche Diagnostics. The 10-story, 230,000 SF 80 Guest St. building provides these tenants premium office and lab space. The Proteostasis project was developed utilizing a true design-build delivery method which offered early constructability input as well as cost savings from a value engineering perspective. Electrical Foremen Juan Ramos and Neil Wilson did an outstanding job delivering these complex fit-out projects with expedited schedules. The electrical scope included an all-new power distribution system, tel/data and AV provisions, and state of the art LED lighting complete with all new lighting controls.
State Electric’s Low Voltage Systems Group was also instrumental in the execution of these projects by completing various tel/data, AV, security, and sound masking work for these tenants. Low Voltage Systems Project Managers CJ Quinn, Rich Borrelli, and Joe Vaccari spearheaded this work in conjunction with General Foremen Scott MacPherson, Robbi Panasuk, and Kevin O’Connell and Foreman John Irvine.
