Today’s intelligent buildings require a robust structured cabling system capable of more than simply handling inter-networking and telecommunications traffic. While recognizing that the evolution of today’s technology has drastically altered the way we gather and exchange information, today’s buildings also use the structured cabling system to power and operate; access control, CCTV, fire alarm, window shades, heating ventilation, lighting, air conditioning and other systems. The intelligent building of today will no longer contain proprietary, independent systems to control security, building automation and life safety. It will contain an enhanced structured cabling system and network built to control all of these critical functions.
At State Electric we understand the growing need for the design and installation of a robust infrastructure that controls a buildings mission critical system. We employ industry certified designers and project managers who understand these complex systems and the infrastructure needed to make them work. In addition to that, our technicians receive expert training via a five year apprenticeship with the IBEW Local 103 Joint Apprentice Training Center. They also attend various industry & manufacturer training courses to maintain our status as experts in a multitude of products and systems.
