The relocation of 13.8kV ductbank and cabling to make way for the airport’s new Economy Parking Garage facility. Installation included 18,000 ft of concrete-encased ductbanks and terminating primary 500MCM, 13.8kV cable within these ductbanks.
Meeting the aggressive six-month schedule without disruption of the infrastructure and high-voltage power grid in one of the country’s largest airports.
State Electric participated in extensive preplanning and coordination to facilitate the necessary shutdowns for the required high-voltage cutovers.
